Do you ever look at Donald Trump and wonder “what fuels this guy?” (Other than McDonalds and Coca-Cola).
It’s coming up on 10 years since he first announced his candidacy for the 2016 US Presidency and now, at the age of 78, he’ll be running the show again for another 4. You’d think after the loss at the 2020 election he would’ve just said “WRONG” and then kicked his feet up and called it a day. Fading into the background to become the funny grandpa at the family gathering, regaling the little Trumps with stories about about “how America used to be great”.
Whatever your opinions on the man are, its clear that he has purpose. Selfish or not he has a drive to win, to work for it, and to succeed. In this campaign alone he did over 900 rallies and came literally millimeters away from having the bails come off his wicket in an assassination attempt.
So maybe there’s something for us to take away here when it comes to our purpose in life. What is it that keeps you at the crease?
Or maybe the Democrats should’ve nominated Pat Cummins instead…
